Today, Dennis had his first trip to the Taipei City Zoo. It was YiHung's first time as well.
Dennis had been able to recognize and name various animals, which made me assume that he might be interested in meeting them in person. However, it might be the hot weather or some other reasons that I was not aware of, he didn't appear to be as enthusiastic as I expected. Other kids seemed to catch more of his attention.
Anyhow, we saw all kinds of animals today, including koalas, owls, fish, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, penguins, hippos, a huge brown bear....
I guess for kids, a zoo may be a place full of joy and wonders. But for me, I just can't stop thinking that these animals would be much happier in their natural habitats.
